DIAMOND’s revolutionary and Patent pending Fiber Optic DiaLink-Saver is a breakaway coupling device (1,25mm ferrule) designed to separate a fiber optic channel when subjected to a sudden pull force. The separated line can then be easily reconnected without tools or the need for skilled labor. The Fiber Optic DiaLink-Saver is further designed to protect the fiber endfaces at the disconnect point so they can be remated without cleaning. A specially-designed protective cap (optional) includes a pulling eye to allow the DiaLink-Saver to be pulled through cable channels or ducts.
