Diversification in the industrial and aerospace/military market segments is also part of TeraXion’s strategy. Customized filtering solutions based on advanced FBG technology are used as reflectors for fibre lasers, while narrow-linewidth semiconductor laser sources are perfect for optical sensing and RF photonics links applications.

More recently, TeraXion has taken the direction of photonics integration by adding silicon photonics (SiP) product design and manufacturing to its mastered capabilities. This new technology platform opens the door for the development of new high-end products where size, power and performance are key requirements.
With the recent acquisition of Cogo Optronics, TeraXion offers advanced high-speed modulators for the rapidly emerging 100 Gb/s and above market opportunities. Using advanced InP device design/wafer fabrication, world class optical packaging technologies and expertise in high volume manufacturing, TeraXion will now provide its customers with state-of-the-art InP optical components and modules.
