This laser package contains a 905 pulsed laser diode (CVD 46) and a 650nm laser diode mounted side by side (distance between the centres of emission = 720um) on a common platform (+, case, positive).  The emission pattern of the two laser die will be centred on the package axis to within +/- 0.010 in.

 pin butterfly package. The laser diode is optically coupled to an SMF fibre pigtail and includes a

 thermoelectric cooler and an electrically isolated temperature sensing thermistor. The SCW 1532-500R laser

 diode modules are specifically designed for optical test equipment applications where high peak pulsed

 optical power is desired. The device is RoHS compliant.

905 nm High Power Pulsed Laser Diodes

OSI Laser Diode, Inc.‘s (LDI) CVD series lasers are strained layer quantum well devices fabricated by the MOCVD process. These pulsed lasers are available with up to 140 W of peak power at 905 nm. They offer a stable output power between -40°C and +80°C.

1550 nm High Brightness Pulsed Laser Diodes

OSI Laser Diode, Inc. provides an extremely high brightness CVLL 1550 nm pulsed laser diode capable of up to 75 Watts output power. The CVLL devices are well suited to most range finding applications requiring “eye safe” operation.

OSI Laser Diode, Inc.’s High Power SMF coupled laser modules are designed to meet the performance demands of the optical test equipment marketplace. The high peak optical power SCW Series lasers serve 1310nm through 1650nm wavelengths and are available in fully hermetic laser welded packages. These packaged lasers can include both TEC and temperature sensing thermistors and back facet monitors for superior wavelength stability over a wide temperature range.

Hybrid Laser Diodes for Pulsed Operations

905 nm

The LHCVN series incorporates a pulsed laser firing circuit into the same package as the laser diode. The hybridization of the driver permits much narrower pulse widths and faster rise times at lower voltage requirements than discrete laser drivers. The LHCVN series is compatible with all OSI Laser Diode, Inc. standard MOCVD laser diodes and can be optimally driven utilizing commercially available MOSFET drivers. The hermetic TO5 package and increased efficiency is ideal when space and weight are of primary concern.
